<strong>Craft supplies</strong></p>
<p>Felt &#8211; pink, white and blue</p>
<p>Scissors</p>
<p>Needle, thread (or loaded glue gun, if you can&#8217;t sew yet &#8211; adult&#8217;s help needed!)</p>
<p>Stuffing &#8211; you can use cotton balls or polyester batting</p>
<p>Fabric paint (optional)</p>
<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Cut out 2 squares approximately 3&#215;3&#8243;, round the corners off</p>
<p>Cut out stripe about 1.5&#8243; wide and 10&#8243; length (exact length depends on how you sew pieces together, so allow a bit more and then cut excess off)</p>
<p>Cut the flowers out &#8211; we used two layers of petals and center</p>
<p>Sew the flowers to the top of the pillow (just make one cross-stitch through all three layers in the center)</p>
<p>Start sewing the side part around the top. As two ends of the stripe meet, adjust them and sew together</p>
<p>Insert your stuffing into that &#8220;box&#8221;</p>

<p>First, mold the roses. Make &#8220;sausage&#8221;, flatten, roll. Make six petals &#8211; take small clay balls, flatten, pinch on one side, connect around the crown</p>
<p>To make a receptacle (cup), make a ball, flatten it into a pancake</p>
<p>Pierce chenille stem in the middle of &#8220;pancake&#8221;, put on the rose, adjust a cup</p>
<p>Put the roses in the glass or cup to dry, meanwhile prepare a vase:</p>
<p>Paint yogurt cup, let it dry</p>
<p>Decorate it with stickers, gems, sequins, or draw anything you want with permanent markers</p>
<p>Tie a ribbon around</p>
<p>Fill the cup with something heavy &#8211; marbles, pebbles  or coins<br />

<p>Fold the papers (13-14 pages) in half, staple on the bend side</p>
<p>Decorate the cover: you can write &#8220;ABC book for Mom&#8221; or &#8220;For my Mom on Mother&#8217;s day 2008&#8243; or any else you consider best. Add some stickers, your faces (cut out of your pictures) plus add pictured body (that&#8217;s funnier) and cutout from magazines (what your Mom likes best? Perfume? Fruits? Shoes? Jewelry?)</p>
<p>Open the book and follow up with alphabet pages. Here are examples that can inspire you:</p>

<p>Now you can choose how you decorate you bag &#8211; you can paint it and write some words or, you can glue different pictures from magazine all over your bag, let the glue dry and then cover it with sealer so it has finished glossy look<br />

<p>2 green chenille stems</p>

<p>1 small flower pot from craft store (or you can use just yogurt cup + decorations)</p>
<p>Styrofoam ball that fit into flower pot</p>

<p><strong>Directions</strong></p>
<p>Trace a bottom of flower pot on yellow foam</p>
<p>Draw petals around this circle</p>
<p>Cut it out</p>
<p>Trace the flower on the foam again</p>
<p>Cut the center out</p>
<p>Trace the top of flower pot on clear plastic wrap, repeat again (you have 2 circles), cut them out</p>
<p>Place the seeds between two plastic circles, tape the edges neatly</p>
<p>Put the &#8220;heart&#8221; between two yellow foamy petal crowns, glue them all together</p>
<p>Twist two green chenilles around hard wire, in the middle of stem make two loops &#8211; leaves<br />
